I can’t help but feel Microsoft is trying way way to hard this generation to appeal to every kind of gamer out there. First they settled themselves as the one true “hardcore” system, with very deep games. Then the inclusion of new Miis Avatars, and casual games like ‘You’re in the Movies” to appeal to the family market. Now a new game entitled Boku which was just unveiled, features all user generated content and feels awfully familiar. It seems like their trying to jump onto every bandwagon there is.
Myself, I’m playing the hell out of Little Big Planet, and loving every minute of it. If MS is truly trying to do something unique with this game, then more power to them. But I sincerely hope they aren’t trying to snatch LBP’s audience away. Not only does the have splendid gameplay, a strong community full of creative individuals, and stellar graphics and music, the game just has too much charm. Look at those Sack People!
Why am I so sure?
Simple. No Stephen Fry narration.
